POSITION 1: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Part Time: 24-30 hours per week
*Full time may become available if it’s the right fit!
Must be available to work at least 3 days per week between the hours of 9a-6p. Tuesdays and Saturdays are required shifts; additional shift(s) will be determined based on availability.
We make pasta! Our growing business is looking for a part time production team member to assist with back of house (BOH) duties, including but not limited to:
- Scaling flour, water and other ingredients as directed
- Packing dried and fresh pasta for wholesale and retail outlets
- Assisting with production of prepared foods, sauces, etc.
- Cleaning extruders and other production equipment
- Washing dishes in 3 compartment sink
- General cleaning of BOH (sanitizing surfaces, mopping, etc).
We cross train all team members on front of house (FOH) duties in order to ensure breaks, lunches, and peak market times are covered. Though these will not be the primary responsibilities of this position, FOH expectations include:
- Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and answering their questions
- Making product recommendations and assisting customers with their selection
- Filling, maintaining, and rotating fresh pasta in deli case
- Using portion scale to weigh and price pasta
- Managing all market transactions using point of sale system
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- *Must love pasta*
- Reliable & punctual with a good attendance record
- Easy going and open to instructions and feedback
- Ability to work in standing position for duration of shift
- Ability to lift 50 lb repetitively
- Ability to precisely follow instructions regarding food safety and sanitation
- A sunny disposition and interest to work alongside a small team committed to producing quality food for their community.
PREFERRED:
- 1+ years of food service industry experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Working knowledge of weighing scales and cash register
- Strong interest in food systems as a career avenue

POSITION 2: PASTA COUNTER CLERK & CASHIER
Part Time: ~24 hours per week.
Must be available to work at least 3 days per week between the hours of 10a-730pm. Weekend availability is required, though you will not be asked to work both Saturday and Sunday every week.
We make pasta! We’re looking for a person passionate about good food to get that pasta to the people. This position largely entails weighing fresh pasta at our deli counter and ringing up sales from our small specialty market. We are a small team that is dedicated to sharing good food with our community; applicants should love eating and communicating their passion for food, too.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and answering their questions
- Make product recommendations and assist customers with their selection
- Fill, maintain, and rotate fresh pasta in our deli case
- Use portion scale to weigh and price pasta
- Maintain our high standards for cleanliness and organization
- Manage all market transactions using point of sale system
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- A cheerful disposition with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in standing position for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and regulations regarding food safety and sanitation
- Basic math and computation skills
